THE YOUTH CONFERENCE ON “OLD AND YOUNG CAPITAL”

530136_275639055849524_1149683769_nIn 2018, on October 20, by the initiative of YSU IB Student Scientific Society, the Youth Conference  on “Ancient and Young Capital” will be held dedicated to the 2800th anniversary of the foundation of Yerevan.

YSU IB students and young lecturers can participate in the conference (the participant should be till 35 years old, except invited SSS scientists).

The spheres of the conference are social sciences (law, political science, international relations, history, economics, service, psychology, journalism, etc.) and art.

For participation it is necessary to fill in the application form until October 5, 2018.

The application should indicate:

  • report title,
  • Name and surname (supervisor(if any), his / her last name, title and academic degree);
  • Faculty, profession, course and department (if a lecturer);
  • Contact information (e-mail, telephone number).

Working languages of the conference are Armenian, Russian, English and French.

Reporting may not match the conference direction.

Requirements for work:

  • Text compositing, Word 97-2003 software.
  • Volume: 4-10 pages.
  • Page format A4, margins. Left-30 mm, right- 15 mm, top and bottom -20 mm.
  • Text font: Armenian-Sylfaen, Russian and English- Times New Roman.
  • The text should be aligned on both sides (Alignment: Justify). The main text font size is 12 pt and the line length is 1.5. Start paragraphs at a depth of 1 cm using TAB.
  • Links are required (in the footnote, with 8 pt font, line length- 1. The text of the link should be aligned on both sides (Alignment: Justify). The reference should include the surname and the first letter of the name of the author of the used source (bold letters), then the title of the work, the place and date of publishing, the used literature page.

ENGLISH LANGUAGE TRAININGS

 Dear students, in 2018, on October 1, YSU Ijevan branch will conduct English language trainings outside the classes by senior students of the Faculty of “English Language and Literature”.

SEPTEMBER 5 DIRECTORATE SESSION

In 2018, on September 5, Directorate Session was held under the supervision of A. Cuculyan at YSU Ijevan branch.

 At the Directorate Session, on the agenda were the list of specializations of 2019 academic year, the effective organization of the educational process and several current issues.

 Taking into consideration the research and affirmations of the deans of the faculties and the Heads of corresponding divisions on the demand of professions in the labor market, the list of specializations of YSU IB, including examination subjects and places without payment of tuition fees, were discussed and reviewed.

Particularly, it was proposed to add “Ecology and Nature Management” specialization in the Faculty of “Natural Sciences” of 2019 academic year, and “Applied Arts” (“Decorative Applied Art”) educational program in the Faculty of Applied Arts.

It was proposed to add “Psychology” to the Faculty of Humanities and to discuss the issue of implementing the “Russian Language and Literature” educational program, taking into consideration the proposal of the Head of Pedagogical Practice Department regarding the great demand of the Russian language teacher in the region․

It was decided to present YSU IB list of admission specializations (educational programs) of 2019 academic year to “Mother University” Yerevan State University for discussion.

  In connection with the other issues, Deans and Heads of Departments were instructed to be consistent in work discipline, to maintain the working time regime, to present students and especially first-year students their rights and responsibilities, disciplinary norms in accordance with the internal disciplinary rules of YSU IB.
