CONFERENCE ON “RELIABLE QUALIFICATIONS AWARD” TO BE HELD

The events dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the National Center for Professional Education Quality Assurance continues.

 On June 14,2019, Armenian-Russian University will host a conference entitled “Reliable Qualifications Award”.

 The conference aims to make sure that the qualifications of the student are met, the student’s success in that context, emphasize the role of the lecturer in organizing efficient training, encourage researchers to work and promote successful experience.

 The agenda of the workshop will include the following: “Reliable qualifications awards”, “Student Progress Planning “, “What is Motivation of Learning “, and student involvement in the educational process.

 The workshop is open to all.  It is intended for the professors, quality assurance professionals, education managers and students.

SUBMISSION OF DOCUMENTS FOR YSUIB ADMISSION CONTINUES

The first stage of students submission for YSUIB Bachelor’s Admission for 2019-2020 academic year launched on May 6 will end on June 1.

  As of May 26, 141 applicants have been registered at YSUIB.

 Thus applications for the admission to the Bachelor of YSU Ijevan Branch are open with 13 specialties.

  As of May 26, the largest number of applications are in Finance, Tourism, Informatics and Applied Mathematics, and Elementary Pedagogy and Methodology Departments and the least applications are: “Russian Language and Literature”, “Psychology”, “French Language  and literature” Departments.

The Admission Committee is located at Usanoghakan 1 Street, Ijevan, every day at 09: 00-16: 00.

 The deadline for submission of applications is June 1, including 9:00 to 18:00.

 Let us remind that 6 courses on “Journalism” have been included in the “Armenian Language and Literature” curriculum.

 P.S.  The documents of students with the RA dual citizenship and foreigners, foreign educational institutions of the Republic of Armenia, graduates of the  vocational (technical) and secondary specialized educational institutions, who are graduating till July 31, are accepted from June 25 till July 2,  (without weekends).

VIVASTART TRAINING PROGRAM

Dear Students,

We would like to inform you on VivaStart Project that is planned to be launched on 1st of July, till 30th of August, 2019.

The aim of this project is to cultivate the sales of the students and service skills, whilst giving the opportunity of not only salvaging important skills theoretically, but also at a practical level. During the project you will have the opportunity of implementing your knowledge in sales, interpersonal communication, as well as acquire new knowledge and skills in the spheres of telecommunications, customer service and modern technologies.

The project will include 2-day classes, later on practice (at least with a half day involvement), with theopportunity of passing an internship in the service centers of Yerevan and in regions and in Call center. At the end of the project certificates will be given out and best students who have shown high performance results will be included in the company’s staff reserve – with the aim of occupying vacant positions later on.

To become a member of this project it is necessary to have the following qualifications:

  1. High progress, specialization in technical and natural sciences, knowledge of foreign languages;
  2. Excellent communication skills;
  3. Positive attitude/enthusiasm;
  4. Ability to quickly perceive and present;
  5. Maintenance of rules/ ethical norms.

To be involved in the project it is necessary to present a CV/ autobiographical and motivational letter, in which should be stated why you wish to take part in this project, what expectations you have and why we should select you. It is also necessary to state your residence address and preferred regions’ 2-3 community, where you could take part in our project.

The student selection process will be implemented according to the requirements stated above.

Students in their 3rd and 4th year of Bachelor, and 1st and 2d years of a Masters’ degree may apply to this project.
