YSU IJEVAN BRANCH ANNOUNCES THE OPENING OF APPLICATIONS FOR TUITION FEES COMPENSATION OF STUDENT-PARENTS HAVING TWO AND MORE CHILDREN

 Youth Foundation of Armenia compensates tuition fees  of full-time  BA student-parents having two  and more  children  and  studying in  state  and  private universities  in the  RA.

Thus from February 11 to March 1, based on the Decision of RA Government of 13 December 2018, within the framework of the donation agreement signed between the Youth Foundation of Armenia and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia announces the opening of applications for Full-time training BA student-parents tuition fees compensation having two and more children.

The compensation will be fully paid to the extent of the difference between the amount paid by the university and the tuition fee. The compensation will be provided for 2018-2019 academic year.

Thus, those students enrolled in the Full-time Bachelor’s degree program of 2018-2019 academic years, with two or more children, who are not included in the free education system of higher education institutions, can apply for tuition fees compensation.

The Applicants must submit the following documents:

  1. Original and a copy of identification card/passport, the original will be returned
  1. 3 × 4 photo
  1. Copy of Students’ ID Card
  1. A copy of the academic transcript approved by the dean
  1. A letter of reference from the university indicating the faculty, course, the fact that you are studying in the Full-time Bachelor’s degree program, the amount of the tuition fee and the fact that the student recieves tuition fee discount from the university or not, discount rate)
  1. Copies of children’s birth certificates
  1. Completed application that you can download via following link

Applications   should  be  submitted to  the  office  of  Youth  Foundation of  Armenia, on Monday-Friday, break from 13:00 to 14:00

FOR STUDENTS ENROLLED IN YSUIB PAID SYSTEM OF EDUCATION

 We are pleased to inform that students enrolled in YSUIB Full-time paid system of education may apply for partial compensation of their tuition fees until March 9, 2019, and students enrolled in the Part-time training system from March 11 to 23.

Applications submitted after the deadlines are not subject to discussion.

APRIL WAR PARTICIPANTS WILL RECEIVE TUITION FEES DISCOUNT

Based on the Government Decree of 13 December 2018, the donation agreement signed between the Ministry of Education and Science of Armenia and the Youth Foundation of Armenia announces the opening of applications for tuition fees discount from February 11 to March1.

 The Ministry of Education and Science informed that the students who are enrolled in the Bachelor’s and Master’s degree Full-time and Part-time training program, served military duty on the RA Armed Forces from 2 to 6 April 2016 or participate in military operations (in the military booklet it is mandatory to have the appropriate marking) and have 50% tuition fees discount due to high academic performance are eligible for the tuition fees discount.

Students who have completed military duty in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia during the period from April 2 to April 20, 2016, and who are enrolled in Bachelor’s and Master’s Full-time and Part-time training programs, according to their academic performance may receive an additional 20% tuition fees discount. Applicants must submit original and photocopy of a passport or identification card, one photo of 3 × 4 size, copy of student card, copy of inspection book, approved by the dean and a copy of a military book and a military record book.

If the military booklet does not specify clearly that the military duty has been carried out between April 2-6, 2016, it is necessary to present a sealed statement from the relevant regional military commissariat. Applicants must also submit a letter of reference from the University including the faculty, course, Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in the Full-time and Part-time training program, the amount of tuition fee, and the fact that the student uses a 30 (40) % tuition fees discount, which can be downloaded at the following link.

The total tuition fees discount provided by the University, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia and the Youth Foundation of Armenia should not exceed 50% of the tuition fee. The compensation of tuition fees is intended for the 2018-2019 academic year.

The applications are open from 10:00 to 17:00, Monday-Friday, at the office of the Youth Foundation of Armenia (50/5 St. Abovyan, Yerevan, RA).
